Download/Install CBECC-Res 2025.1.0 - For Compliance with the 2025 Standards
CBECC-Res 2025 can be used to show compliance with the performance approach of the 2025 California Residential Building Energy Efficiency Standards for single family buildings. It will be required for permits filed on or after January 1, 2026
Starting with version 2025.2.0, CBECC will support single-family residential compliance and there will no longer be a separate CBECC-Res version for single-family residential compliance. Please see the NORESCO BEES 2025 compliance software webpage for more details and to download CBECC.

CBECC-Res 2025.1.0 was approved June 11, 2025 by the California Energy Commission for demonstrating performance with the single-family residential provisions of the 2025 Energy Code.
Please note: CBECC-Res 2025 can read RIBD files generated in CBECC-Res 2022 (backwards compatible), but CBECC-Res 2022 cannot read RIBD files generated in CBECC-Res 2025 (not forwards compatible). If you are also using older CBECC-Res compliance software, be sure to install the programs in different directories.
